The Montecristo Espada Collection, 6-Cigar Sampler is an awesome way to experience this historic brand’s line of fine Nicaraguan tobaccos. Each sampler comes with two-each Montecristo Espada Ricasso (robusto), Montecristo Espada Guard (toro), and Montecristo Espada Quillon (double corona). All are handmade in Nicaragua by Plasencia Cigars.

  Montecristo Espada

  Traditionally, Altadis has manufactured its Montecristo cigars in the Dominican Republic. Their 2014 release, Montecristo Espada, is their first Montecristo made in Nicaragua by the Plasencia Family. The cigar is made with especially aged tobaccos grown by Plasencia, and offers a rich and complex smoke. The Montecristo Espada wrapper is a Habano Jalapa Vintage 2010, binder is a Habano Jalapa Vintage 2009, and fillers are Habano Jalapa Seco, Habano Ometepe Viso and Habano Condega Ligero harvested in 2008.
