A flavorful medium bodied smoke with notes of spice, earth and coffee. This Nicaraguan puro features a golden-hued Sun-grown Habano wrapper. Handmade in Nicaragua, the New World Dorado Robusto's wrapper, binder and some of the filler tobaccos were grown in AJ Fernandez’s Dorado farm, which is known for its gold toned land and rich fertile soil.

  The Dorado is the fifth release of the ever-popular New World brand, which was started by AJ Fernandez and his father Isamel. The cigar’s named refers to AJ’s Dorado farm in Esteli, Nicaragua. When AJ first started to work the land, he noticed it had a dorado (or golden hue) to it. The New World Dorado is a Nicaraguan puro that uses tobacco grown from this farm for its wrapper, binder and parts of its filler. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua and offer a medium bodied smoking experience that will delight fans of this iconic brand.

  A box pressed cigar is a cigar that has a square shape. Originally, this shape came from the practice of packing round cigars tightly in cardboard boxes which are then compacted using a manual press. The cigars are thus pressed into each other and become a "squarish" or semi-square shape. Today, cigar makers use square shaped molds or a wooden trunk press for their box pressed cigars, achieving a more defined square section.
