Its Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper covers a dual binder made of Jalapa, Nicaragua and Ecuadorian Connecticut leaves and a Nicaraguan filler. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, the Ozenger Bosphorus was crafted by Tim Ozenger, a cigar crafter and son of the legendary cigar maker Cano Ozenger, who founded CAO cigars.

The cigar is composed of a savory, dark tan Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper placed over a dual binder made of Ecuadorian Connecticut and Nicaraguan leaves and a Nicaraguan filler.

  Due to almost permanent cloudy skies, which provide a natural shade, Ecuador is the ideal place to grow Connecticut shade tobacco. The cloud cover allows the tobacco to grown without shade cloths, which reduces its production costs. Ecuadorian Connecticut shade grown is typically used for wrappers and binders.
