Quesada Oktoberfest is available in very limited quantities and released around October each year. Handmade in the Dominican Republic with Dominican wrapper and a variety of rich Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos.

The factory was founded by Manuel Quesada, his father and his brother in 1974 in Santiago, Dominican Republic. MATASA’s vast portfolio of cigars includes the Quesada 1974, Quesada 40th Anniversary, and the Quesada Oktoberfest. They also manufacture cigars for some of the top brands in the industry.

  The main tobacco region in the Dominican Republic is the Cibao valley in the northern part of the island. In the 60s, Cuban seeds were brought here by exiled Cuban cigar makers and found that they grew exceptional cigar tobacco, called Piloto Cubano. The native Dominican tobacco, called Olor, is milder than Piloto Cubano yet more aromatic. The first company to grow Dominican tobacco for cigar wrapper was Tabacalera Arturo Fuente in 1995.
