The Saga Short Tales TOMO III is the third volume of this storybook collection of premium cigars. It celebrates the labor of love it takes to create a memorable cigar. The TOMO III is a medium-bodied petit corona that features a natural and delicious Ecuadorian Habano wrapper placed over a Dominican San Vicente binder and a filler made of Brazilian Viso and Dominican Piloto Cubano leaves. This superb three-nation blend offers fragrant floral and woody notes with an underlying tobacco sweetness. The Saga Short Tales TOMO III is handmade at the De Los Reyes, SRL factory in the Dominican Republic.

  Launched in 2016, Saga Short Tales is a collection of premium cigars created by De Los Reyes Cigars, a sixth generation family owned and operated company. Each superbly crafted cigar released in the series is a different blend and vitola from the previous one. The cigars are stored in a collectible box designed to look like a book with actual pages, and its own tomo (Spanish for tome/volume) number and a title, which is dedicated to tobacco and the fine art of cigar making. The cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic.

While tobacco and cigars have always traditionally been produced in the Dominican Republic, many Cuban cigar makers established in the Dominican Republic after the Cuban communist revolution, elevating the quality of Dominican cigars.

  Ecuadorian Habano wrapper has become one of the most used cigar wrappers in the market. Grown primarily by the Oliva family, this tobacco originated from Habano or H2000 seeds brought to Ecuador from Cuba. This leaf is rich and flavorful thanks to the temperate climate of Ecuador and the quality of its volcanic soil.

  The binder is a full tobacco leaf that is used to roll the cigar, binding the filler tobaccos together. 
  A tobacco hybrid grown in the Dominican Republic. The San Vicente plant is valued for its high leaf yield, and it makes an excellent binder.

  Brazilian Viso

  Filler is the term used to describe the tobacco inside a cigar or the "guts" of the cigar.
  Brazil produces rich, medium to strong, dark tobaccos with a sweet taste and aroma. Most of the cigar production is concentrated on the eastern coast of Brazil, in the state of Bahia. Viso is a grade of filler tobacco that is more powerful than seco and less powerful than ligero. Also known as volado.
