First made in 1910, the American is made of 100% American tobacco from wrapper to filler, and it is hand rolled in Newman’s El Reloj factory located in Tampa, Florida. The American sports a Florida Sun grown wrapper that is draped over a Connecticut broadleaf binder, which houses USA Connecticut and USA Pennsylvania long-filler tobaccos.
