  The Warped Don Reynaldo cigar was created to honor Ronald Gellis the father of Kyle Gellis, Warped Cigars’ founder. Ronald imparted his love and knowledge of cigars to his son, which prompted Kyle to create his own boutique cigar brand. The Don Reynaldo was first released as a limited edition cigar in 2014. It soon gained a cult-like status among cigar lovers that Warped Cigars was forced to make it a regular production cigar, which increased its popularity. Fast forward a decade later and the Warped Don Reynaldo 10th Anniversary cigar was born. This celebratory cigar not only marks a milestone for the Don Reynaldo cigar, but it celebrates the line’s namesake and Warped Cigars’ commitment to producing memorable smoking experiences.

In the 60s, Cuban seeds were brought here by exiled Cuban cigar makers and found that they grew exceptional cigar tobacco, called Piloto Cubano. The native Dominican tobacco, called Olor, is milder than Piloto Cubano yet more aromatic. The first company to grow Dominican tobacco for cigar wrapper was Tabacalera Arturo Fuente in 1995.
