In addition, he was the designer behind Padron’s 50th Anniversary humidor. Alfonso is also a gifted cigar blender and founder of Atabey Cigars. Elegantly encased in glass tubes and packaging that is collector worthy, the Atabey cigar sports a beautiful Ecuadorian wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and filler for a mild to medium-bodied smoke. The Atabey has a pleasing floral base that is accented by a sweet and salty note.
