The HVC Hot Cake line is known for releasing bold cigars. Their Golden Line Connecticut takes things on the milder side with an overall smooth, creamy profile and some touches of spice. Its smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper sheaths a binder and filler made of premium Nicaraguan tobacco. This is the first time the Hot Cake line has released a Connecticut Shade cigar. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua at HVC’s factory in Esteli.

However, the Golden Line Connecticut takes a walk on the mild side. Its Nicaraguan binder and filler are covered by a smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper. This is the first time the HVC Hot Cake line has released a cigar with a Connecticut Shade wrapper. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua at HVC’s factory in Esteli.

The weather conditions, with a nearly permanent cloudy sky, provide a natural shade, protecting the wrapper plants from sunshine and allowing the tobacco to grow thin and light. This climate allows tobacco growers to grow Connecticut-seed wrapper in the shade without shade cloths, resulting in more economical wrapper.
