On January 2004, The Cusano 18 received a 91 rating from Cigar Aficionado and that was only the beginning. In September, the all new dark and spicy Corojo 97 received a 91 rating, and like the Cusano 18, was named both a "Humidor Selection" and a "Best Buy".
The 18 also continued to gather steam as the Robb Report featured it as their "Select Smoke" in the September 2004 issue.
Cigar Aficionado's "Best Cigars of the Year for 2005" named the Corojo 1997 vintage the #1 "Newcomer for 2005" and ranked the Cusano 18 Double Connecticut in the top two "Best Buys", second only to the Fuente Chateau.
Only 1% of cigar brands have ever achieved a rating of 91 or higher.
