On Friday, May 3rd, 2024, Neptune Cigars hosted their monthly Live Music Friday event at their store in Pinecrest, Florida. Manuel Inoa of La Aurora Cigars was their special guest and was present to discuss cigars, tobaccos, and La Aurora’s portfolio of fine premium cigars. Attendees at the event were treated to Dominican cuisine, samples of León Jimenes rum, and special offers on La Aurora cigars.
Manuel is La Aurora Cigar’s master blender. He manages production for this century old cigar factory and is the company’s brand ambassador. Manuel has been in the cigar industry for more than 35 years, and he has been with La Auroa for 25 years. Manuel’s encyclopedic knowledge of tobacco, blending, and cigar crafting has earned him a reputation as one of the most respected men in the industry.
Established in 1903, La Aurora Cigars is the Dominican Republic’s first and oldest cigar factory. La Aurora was founded by Eduardo León Jimenes, who at the age of 18 and armed with a family history of growing tobacco, set out to pursue his dream of creating an internationally known premium cigar brand. Still family owned and operated, La Aurora has expanded on Jimenes’ dream and continues to craft cigars that are recognized for their fine tobacco, excellent craftsmanship, and unique blends.
