The cigar uses 10 leaves in its blend, which is a difficult task, to create a memorable smoking indulgence. The BCN-143 cigar is part of Alec Bradley’s Fine and Rare collections. The cigars in this line are handmade in Honduras by the Raices Cubanas factory’s most experienced rollers. The Alec Bradley Fine and Rare BCN-143 was awarded the #21 spot in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of the Year in 2012 and received a 91 rating.

  When Alec Bradley decided to make a new cigar using 10 leaves of tobacco in one single cigar, he gave the task to the most experienced rollers at the Raices Cubanas factory in Honduras. This was the beginning of the Alec Bradley Fine and Rare, a cigar that has more tobacco packed into it than any other regular cigar. The cigar features a Honduran Trojes wrapper leaf, a double binder of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves, and seven long-filler tobaccos. The first Alec Bradley Fine and Rare was released in 2011.

The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.
