This potent stick delivers rich earthy, nutty, cocoa and spicy notes complemented with a satisfying sweetness. Its dark, oily Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper cloaks a Nicaraguan binder and filler. The cigar was originally released in 2008 as a tribute to Mexico and its fine tobacco. The cigar is named after Zocalo, a main square in Mexico City that is now known as Plaza de la Constitucion. The cigar still maintains its original blend, but the packaging and the band has been given a new look that was inspired by the Mexican flag. The CAO Zocalo Robusto is handmade in Nicaragua.
