  1875 By Romeo y Julieta

  1875 By Romeo y Julieta is the 2014 addition to the Romeo y Julieta brand by Altadis. Meant to offer a bolder taste than the standard 1875 series, this revamped mild to medium-bodied Honduran toro features a light brown chocolate-colored Indonesian wrapper that covers a Dominican binder and Dominican filler to provide notes of cedar, cocoa and spice throughout its smooth earthy finish.

  H. Upmann 1844 Reserve

  Altadis has called the H. Upmann 1844 Reserve their finest H. Upmann to date. Made in the Tabacalera de Garcia factory in Dominican Republic, it offers intricate flavors and a fuller bodied smoke than the original H. Upmann, with an Ecuadorian Cubano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Dominican filler tobaccos. 1844 marks the year when the original H. Upmann cigar was created.

  H. Upmann The Banker

  The story behind H. Upmann The Banker starts in 1844, when the creators of the H. Upmann brand, both German bankers, crafted a unique cigar to give as gifts to their VIP clients. In 2014, Altadis tries to recreate the original blend using an Ecuador Havana wrapper, a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder, and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers that have been carefully aged. H. Upmann The Banker is medium bodied with robust coffee and spice notes.

  H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon

  High quality Cameroon wrapper leaf has become scarce in recent years due to poor climate. Altadis has been storing high grade Cameroon wrapper for many years, and this now aged high grade Cameroon tobacco is the vintage wrapper they use for their H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon cigars. The fillers and binder are Nicaraguan and Peruvian tobaccos. Rated 92 (Outstanding) by Cigar Aficionado.

  Monte by Montecristo

  Monte by Montecristo opens up a new chapter for the classic Montecristo cigar brand, as did the earlier release of Romeo by Romeo y Julieta from the same manufacturer, Altadis USA. The cigar is exquisite, handmade with the use of two flavorful binders instead of one. The Nicaraguan Corojo binder and the spicy Dominican Olor binder complement one another, while aged fillers from the Dominican Republic farms in Villa Gonzales and La Canela give punch and complexity to this well-balanced cigar.

  The Romeo y Julieta Vintage is a handmade premium with a light brown Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, Mexican binder and Dominican filler. The smoke is mild to medium, and the tobacco is perfectly aged, creamy and flavorful.
