This full-bodied cigar has a spicy profile with deep notes of leather and earth. It is a Nicaraguan puro that sports an alluring, red-tinted Corojo Colorado wrapper. Handmade in Nicaragua, the cigar is made entirely of Aganorsa Leaf tobacco. The Illusione PIV was created by actor Jeremy Piven, who played Ari Gold in the HBO series “Entourage.” It is the first release from the Jeremy Piven Collection. It was developed in collaboration with Dion Giolito founder of Illusione cigars and marks the first time that Giolito has created a cigar for a celebrity.

  Actor Jeremy Piven is well-remembered for his role as Ari Gold in the hit show “Entourage.” Twenty years ago, he started smoking cigars and slowly but surely, he became an aficionado so much so that he wanted to create his own cigar. He met with legendary boutique cigar crafter Dion Giolito of Illusione cigars. Dion agreed to help develop his cigar. Soon afterwards Jeremy launched The Jeremy Piven Collection and released his first cigar the PIV Robusto. It is a potent full-bodied premium cigar that is made of 100% Nicaraguan tobacco with an alluring, reddish Corojo wrapper from tobacco grown by Aganorsa Leaf in Nicaragua. The Illusione PIV also marks the first time that Illusione has crafted a cigar for a celebrity.

  Honduras, a Central American country which shares a border with Nicaragua, is widely known in the premium cigar industry as the ideal place to grow Cuban and Connecticut seed tobaccos. Danli and the Jamastran Valley is considered the heart of Honduras’ cigar industry. The Jamastran Valley is known for producing a full-bodied tobacco that draws strong comparisons to the tobacco grown in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This same region is also known for its Connecticut shade grown and Corojo shade grown tobacco. In addition, Honduras produces Cuban-seed sun grown filler tobaccos of the highest quality.

  The wrapper is the last tobacco leaf to be rolled on the cigar, so it is the one the smoker will see.
  Nicaraguan Corojo '99 tobacco originated as a wrapper leaf in 1999 in Cuba. The seeds of the original Corojo '99 seed were planted in Ecuador, and these in turn were transplanted to Nicaragua. The leaf is appreciated for its excellent wrapper qualities and spiciness.

  Nicaraguan cigar binders are produced mainly in Esteli and Jalapa, both lands with volcanic soil and excellent climate for growing tobacco. Binders grown in Jalapa have sweet undertones. Corojo, Habana2000, Criollo, and Maduro binders are all produced in Nicaragua.
