  KC Johnson, who represents the L’Atelier cigar brand, named the L’Atelier Roxy cigar in memory of his dog Roxy, who passed away in 2023. The Roxy cigars come in two distinct wrappers: the Original uses a delicious Ecuadorian Sancti Spiritus wrapper, and the Maduro uses a mouthwatering Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. According to KC, “Some would say that the idea of having two blends in a box was because she was phantom, it also could be because she had two different personalities.” Regardless of which version you choose to smoke, the Roxy offers a delicious smoking experience that will have you coming back for more. KC Johnson is also the older brother of Pete Johnson of Tatuaje cigars.

  Connecticut Broadleaf is grown in the United States' Connecticut Valley and is prized for its dark, oily, full flavored and aromatic characteristics. The plants are grown in full sun giving this cigar wrapper its characteristic sweetness. The Connecticut Broadleaf plant leaves are mainly processed as maduro tobacco. Today, Connecticut Broadleaf seeds are being grown in other countries besides the United States.
