  Oliva Serie V Melanio is the long awaited follow up to the popular Oliva Serie V. Launched in 2012, the brand honors Melanio Oliva, the first of the Oliva family to grow tobacco in the 1800s. The Serie V Melanio are made of Nicaraguan filler and binder grown by the Oliva family, and finished with an Ecuador Sumatra seed tobacco also grown by Oliva. The company uses their most aged fillers for the Serie V line, and in the Serie V Melanio cigars they have added a bit more Jalapa tobacco to the blend, making it more flavorful without adding strength.
