Cracked Wrappers
Have you ever light up a cigar and have its wrapper unravel like a ribbon on a gift box? Or notice that the wrapper cracks like dried leaves in autumn? If you have, chances are your cigar is a victim of one of the following:
1. Your cigar is dry. Your humidor should be between 68% and 72% humidity.
2. You cut too much off the top. Improper cutting can cause a cigar's wrapper to unravel.
3. The cigar roller may not have used the right amount of vegetable glue (gomma) to the cap.
