This medium strength yet flavorful cigar has a spicy and peppery profile with subtle woodsy and coffee notes and a peppery finish. It is a Nicaraguan puro that sports a warm light-brown wrapper. The tobacco for this special blend is aged 10 years prior to rolling, so it can develop its balanced and flavorful profile. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua. The “96” in the cigar’s name signifies what would have been the late founder’s, Jose O. Padron, 96th birthday.
